Spring

This spring has been so slow to really arrive.... a quiet blossoming, and my rejoicing has been quiet too.  I am unsatisfied with the pace, begging for giant leaps into warmth and sunshine and new growth.  But the rain and coolness have done their work and there is much to show for it if my ungrateful heart would look. My volume of praise needs raising.... "this is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!"
