Easter

Our Easter was busy and slightly chaotic... sigh.  Why is it always the celebrations that are the most important get caught up in craziness?  But it was a happy day for sure and filled much joy.  I am thankful for my dear daughter who was so right in saying to me several times in the course of the day, "I am SO thankful that Jesus rose from the dead."  He is risen!  He is risen indeed!  

Spring

This spring has been so slow to really arrive.... a quiet blossoming, and my rejoicing has been quiet too.  I am unsatisfied with the pace, begging for giant leaps into warmth and sunshine and new growth.  But the rain and coolness have done their work and there is much to show for it if my ungrateful heart would look. My volume of praise needs raising.... "this is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!"

Always a first time for everything!

I have never blogged.  I randomly got the urge to set one up with very little idea of how it will look or what it will turn out to be.  So here's to possibilities and potential.
